New @SocialEmployee Book Trailer Video Announcement:
Blue Focus Marketing® is pleased to announce our latest video in support of our Amazon best-selling book, The Social Employee (McGraw-Hill, 2013). The video, titled “What is a Möbius Strip?” proposes a new way of looking at relationship-building and social interaction in the digital bazaar, one with infinite possibility and endless points of entry built right into its DNA.
At the center of this model is the möbius strip, a seemingly simple-looking band with surprisingly complex physical properties. As we explain in the video, anyone can make a möbius strip. Just take a strip of paper, twist it, and attach the two ends together to make a closed loop. If you run your finger across the length of the strip, you will find that you can cover the entire surface area without having to lift your finger once.
So what does the möbius strip have to do with building a culture of engaged social employees? Watch the video to find out!
In The Social Employee, we go behind the scenes with several leading brands—such as IBM, AT&T, Dell, Adobe, Southwest Airlines, Cisco, Acxiom, and Domo—pulling the lid off the inspiring social business success stories that have propelled these companies into the 21st century. These cutting-edge brands have all come to the same realization: the path to social business lies through empowering the social employee.
A special thanks to our creative team who helped us with the production of this video. Thanks Daniel Quiyu @frontsidedan for the fantastic animation and editing, and to Chas Hoppe (@choppyrocks) for yet another sterling voiceover!
