What does employee engagement have to do with the Internet of Things (IoT)? Why is the IoT going to be instrumental in creating a flexible, collaborative working environment for the rapidly growing Millennial workforce?

The IoT deemphasizes physical location and emphasizes connectivity. Today’s employees can access devices, tools and content from wherever they are. This brings the best employees for the job together in new and exciting ways, regardless of physical location. It also ensures all employees are working from the same set of tools and using the same files within a shared workspace. Thanks to the IoT, gone are the days of redundant or conflicting files, incompatible file formats and endless scheduling and file-sharing hurdles.
